Opening Ceremonies - Would your school or class like to participate in the opening ceremonies on Friday April 9th at 6:00pm at the NEW Queen’s Centre? We are looking for groups to help us welcome the athletes from around the world to Kingston and kick off the 17th World University Cross Country Championships. This activity is open to all members of the public and will feature an Olympic style flag ceremony, entertainment and an opportunity to meet the athletes in person. We will be selecting groups to march in with the athletes and be part of this great event! On race day we will also be selecting students to be part of the athlete procession and anthem ceremonies.
